Itinerary
Day 01: Bangalore / Bengaluru local sightseeing.
Upon arrival our BMC HOLIDAYS driver meets and greets you at Bangalore Airport, Railway station or any other location in Bangalore.
Drive to the hotel and check in. after some time sightseeing:
- Bangalore Palace: Bangalore Palace is a royal palace located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, in an area that was owned by Rev. J. Garrett, the first principal of the Central High School in Bangalore, now famous as Central College. The commencement of the construction of the palace is attributed to him.
- Lal Bagh Botanical Gardens 18th a century garden laid down by Hyder Ali. Some centuries-old trees can be found here. Peninsular Gneiss aka Lalbagh rock is one of the oldest rock formations on earth estimated 3000 million years old, preserved by the Government.
- Visvesvaraya Industrial Technological Museum.
- Venkatappa Art Gallery and Museum: 2500 years old Halmidi inscription is preserved here.
- Chamundi Hills:one of the seven most sacred hills, visit Sri Chamundeshwari temple, nandi statue, Mahishasura statue.
- Vidhana Soudha: the seat of the state legislature of Karnataka a magnificent stone building.
- Iskcon temple: contemporary design temple dedicated to lord Krishna.
- Bridge road, M G road Happening place by evening, you have time for shopping here.
- Drive back to the hotel by evening Overnight Stay in Bengaluru.
- Day 02: Bangalore to Mysore 140 kms.
After breakfast by 8 am, check out from the hotel and Drive to Mysore.
- Srirangapatna the river island formed by River Kaveri: Ranganathaswamy temple the Adi ranga and srirangam being the antya ranga.
- Tipu sultan summer Palace via Ganjam, with moral paintings still in good shape.
- Ranganathittu bird sanctuary: in kannada also known as Pakshi ( bird) Kashi ( banaras) is the largest bird sanctuary in Karnataka, noted birds here The great stone plover, Asian openbill stork, woolly-necked stork, black-headed ibis,the painted stork, lesser whistling duck, Indian shag, stork-billed kingfisher,Oriental darter, common spoonbill, cormorant, river tern, egret, few pelicans have made Ranganathittu as their permanent home. November to June is the right season to visit this place.
- Amba Vilas palace (Popularly Known as Mysore Palace) the official residence of Wodeyars. this palace is the most visited tourist spot in India second only to Taj Mahal.
- Chamundi Hills:one of the seven most sacred hills, visit Sri Chamundeshwari temple, nandi statue, Mahishasura statue.
- Regional Museum of Natural History, Karanji lake: Houses the India’s biggest walk through aviary(flight cages), Butterfly park, migratory birds like,Sandpipers, The Herons, Asian openbill storks,Brown Shrike, Egrets, Red wattled lapwing, Rose ringed parakeet, Black Drongo, red-whiskered bulbul, Booted warbler, Sunbirds, Greenish Warbler Paradise, Flycatchers can be seen here.
- Mysore Zoo: officially the Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Garden houses over 168 species and is spread over 157 acres and is near to mysore palace.
- Mysore has many geographical indications , GI tags viz., Mysore-silks, ganjifa, Mysore-Banana, Mysore-Sandal, Mysore-mallige (Jasmine), Mysore- Agarbathi, and many more Scope of shopping too.
- KRS dam: Brindavan garden light and music fountain garden
Later in the evening drive back to the hotel for overnight stay in Mysuru.
Day 03: Mysore to back home.
After breakfast drive back to Bengaluru and drop at your desired location in Bangalore and the tour concludes with happy memories.

Day 02: Bangalore to Mysore
After breakfast by 8 am, check out from the hotel and Drive to Mysore

- Ganjama is a typical local village known for rose flower production and yummy gulkand made out of it. Also, you can visit the 400 years old Sri Nimishamba temple, Main Deity is Sri Nimishamba Devi along with Sri Chakra carved out of Black stone on the banks of the river ghat.
- Tipu sultan summer Palace via Ganjam: with mural paintings still in good shape, and a Royal Garden.
- Sangama: three rivers namely Kaveri, Kabini & Hemavathi, rivers confluence.
- Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary: is the largest bird sanctuary in Karnataka, on the banks of the Kaveri river. Around 169 exotic birds can be seen here. Of these, the painted stork, Asian openbill stork, common spoonbill, wooly-necked stork, black-headed ibis, lesser whistling duck, Indian shag, stork-billed kingfisher, egret, cormorant, Oriental darter, and heron The great stone plover, river tern, large flock of streak-throated swallows. Mahadevapura bird sanctuary is also nearby. If you are a Bird watcher you can try this place also.

- Inside the premises of Mysore palace, there are 12 temples: Someshvara Temple, Lakshmi Ramana Temple, Shwetha Varahaswamy Temple, Sri Prasanna Krishna Swami Temple, Sri Bhuvaneshwari Temple, Kodi Someshwara Swamy Temple, Sri Gayatri Temple, Sri Trineshwara temple and others. Some were built in the 14th Century. The Anthapura, another Building beside Mysore palace houses the exclusive collections of Costumes and dress materials of the yesteryear kings and queens, this was built some 600 years ago.

Day 03: Mysore Sightseeing.
After breakfast by 8 am, check out from the hotel and Drive to Mysore.
- Mysore zoo officially the Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Garden houses over 168 species, is spread over 157 acres and is near Mysore palace. Entry fees are Rs 40. and by vehicle Rs 120. per person.
- Sand Museum: one of the rare sand art museums. Entry Fees Rs 40. Per Person.
- Sri Chamundeshwari temple: As per Adi Guru Shri Shankaracharya’s Astadasa Shakti Peeta Stotram, Chamundi hills is one of the Astadasa Shakti peeta. one of the seven most sacred hills in South India. This place, aka Krauncha Pitham in Skanda Purana, is referred to as Krauncha Puri.
- Sri Mahabaleshwara temple: Originally built in the 8th Century Dedicated to lord Sri Shiva, the winsome architecture of Hoysala, Ganga, Chola, Vijayanagar, and other kings.
- Mahishasura statue the Statue of Demon from which the current name of Mysore is derived.
- Nandi statue big bull: Third largest monolithic statue of Nandi in India carved out of Single black granite. Also the panoramic view of Mysore City, Mysore palace, and lalitha mahal palace.
- Kukkarahalli lake, Jayachamarajendra Art Gallery, Jaganmohan Palace, Railway Museum, and other places can also be covered if time permits.
- KRS dam (Brindavan Garden): Krishna Raja Sagara is the main water source for irrigation and drinking in Mysore, Mandya, and most of Bangalore City. Construction started in 1924 the Ruler of Mysore Kingdom Shri Krishnaraja wonder IV and The Chief Engineer and also Diwan of Mysore Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, Together built Asia’s biggest dam then. September 15th the Birthday of Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvaraya is rightly Celebrated as Engineer’s Day. Brindavan garden lights up in evening light and music fountain garden.
Drive back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Mysuru.
Day 04: Mysore to back home.
After breakfast drive back to Bengaluru and drop at your desired location in Bangalore and the tour concludes with happy memories.
