Day 01: Coimbatore to Ooty.

Upon arrival BMC HOLIDAYS driver meets and greets you at Coimbatore Airport, Railway station or any other location in Coimbatore.
Drive to ooty for sightseeing

  • Sim’s Park: Sim’s Parkis in Coonoor, The Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu. It is an important tourist place to visit in Coonoor, at a height of 1780 meters above mean sea level. Home to 1000 plus species of colourful and vibrant flowers, the Sim’s Park is a well-maintained botanical garden where you can enjoy nature at its best 
  • Kotagiri:is the oldest hill station of Nilgiris, famous for Tea estates, Catherine Falls, Kodanad View Point, Longwood Shola.
  • CoonoorFamous for Nilgiri Tea production.
  • Lamb’s rock: Lamb’s Rock is a tourist spot in Coonor, on the slopes of the Nilgiri Hill. It is located at a distance from Coonoor. It has a View of the Coimbatore plains, tea estates and coffee estates.
  • Dolphin’s Nose Mountain view points: A huge roc, the Dolphin’s Nose resemble a dolphin’s nose and is located at 1000 feet above sea level. It is a popular tourist spot located in Coonoor and offers breathtaking views.
  • Highfield Tea Factory: The Highfield Tea Factory is a fifty-year-old factory set up to utilize the tea plantation, it is a place that’s drenched with the smell of fresh tea that’s being brewed.
  • Nilgiri Mountain Railway (Toy Train): Built-in 1908 relies on its fleet of steam locomotives. UNESCO added the Nilgiri Mountain Railway as an extension to the World Heritage Site.  Diesel locomotives have taken over from steam on the section between Coonoor and Udhagamandalam.

Day 02: Ooty Sightseeing.

After breakfast by 8:00 am drive to Ooty sightseeing.

  • The Government Botanical Garden: covers an area of 22 hectares, is one of the major attractions in Ooty.
  • Doddabetta Tea Factory and Chocolate Museum: Know all about tea processing, Chocolate manufacturing.

  • Tea Museum: Tours revealing the manufacturing process that turns fresh leaves into Nilgiri tea, plus tastings.
  • Ooty Lake & Boathouse:The Boathouse offers Paddle boats, Row boats, and Motor boats. This is an artificial lake constructed by John Sullivan, in year 1824, additional charges.
  • The Government Rose Garden:is the largest rose garden in India, situated on the slopes of the Elk Hill close to Ooty town.
  • Botanical Park: This gardenwas laid out in 1897 by the Marquis of Tweedale and is spread over 55 acres. … A flower show along with an exhibition of rare plant species.
  • Karnataka Park: One of the new attractions to Ooty. It is beautifully maintained Garden and looks very excellent. There is lot of space to sit, relax and click selfies.

  • Pine Forest: The Pine Forest in Ooty is a major tourist, Hub. It is actually a small valley area, where several movies, songs and serials have been shot.
  • Shooting point: Shooting point also known as Wenlock Downs is one of the major attractions in Ooty.

Day 03: Ooty to Kodaikanal 6-8 hrs Journey approx.

After breakfast drive to Kodaikanal via NH 67. On the Way Coonoor, Mettupalayam, Palani.

  • Optional if you like to visit the famous Arulmigu Dhandayuthapani Swamy Temple, Palani.
  • Dolman’s cave: A dolman or portal tomb is a type of single-chamber megalithic tomb, usually consisting of two or more upright megaliths supporting a large flat horizontal.
  • Silver Cascade Waterfall: Silver Cascade is 180 Feet high and is a result of the overflow of Kodai Lake over a steep cliff.

Day 04: Kodaikanal Must see sightseeing.

After breakfast drive to Kodaikanal local sightseeing:

  • Moir Point: Situated at the entrance of the forest which leads up all the way to the exquisite Berijam Lake, Moir Point is one of the most significant viewpoints.

  • Chettiar Park: This is very nice park on the way to Kurinji Andavar temple from main road bus stand. Need to Climb the hill in order to reach this park.
  • Bryant Park: Bryant Park situated on the eastern side of Kodaikanal lake, Bryant park is a botanical park and a blessing on the hill station.
  • Bear Shola Falls: It is situated in dense forest. You can actually feel nature in its surrounding with chirping of birds and water falling from the mountain.
  • Dolphin Nose: A Nice view of mountain. Dolphin’s nose is a rock hanging from cliff which is shape of a dolphin’s nose.

Day 05: Kodaikanal to back home.
